Save Our Cobia

The Save Our Cobia Petition has been created because numerous anglers along the Northern Gulf of Mexico have come to the realization that our cobia, ling, or lemonfish, whatever you may call them, stocks are in trouble and that we need to acknowledge it and take action before it gets any worse.

For many years now it appears that we as a large group of fishermen have continued to fish for and harvest an exceptional amount of cobia through the spring each year without slowing down to think about what we may be doing to our fishery.

By signing this petition, you are simply agreeing that something needs to be done. As our list of supporters grows we will reach out by email and ask for your opinion on what we should ask fishery management for when the time comes.
